Imagine the embarrassment of having 52 warts on one hand and 32 on the other hand! This was Autumn’s problem, and nothing worked, until she relized that her stress came from the guilt of secretly doing wrong things. When she confessed everything to her parents and dedicat- ed her body to God, the warts began clearing up; and, in a few days, there was no trace of them!

For years, Richard had disabling panic attacks. After counseling with Dr. Jim Logan and reading the book on “How to Resolve 7 Deadly Stresses”, he traced his problem to a painful memory. When he was a toddler, he fell on a stick which went through his eye and caused blind- ness. He states, “The trauma was kept in my heart all these years.” He listed ten benefits for why God let it happen and says, “I am now free from the hold of panic attacks.”

After suffering with back pain in connection with rounded shoulders for nine years, Brittany was told by doctors that her condition was irreversible. She asked for prayer and anointing with oil according to James 5:14-16. The very next morning her pain was totally gone!

Stress is a major cause and contributor of many diseases. However, we cannot assume that because people have stomach pains, they must be bitter; or because they have aching bones, they have envy.
Remember that there are four other causes of disease. Making judgments would be offensive and hurtful and must not be done. Let other people study this material on their own and then they can draw their own conclusions.

A major cause of stress may be a hurtful experience that has been buried deep in your memory. This must be transformed by listing the benefits that God intended for allowing it to happen. Instructions and examples can be found by clicking here.
Note: If you need help in transforming a memory, write out the experience and email it to the Life Purpose Health Team, including your phone number. If possible, we will contact you with further assistance.

There are many factors that are connected with a disease. Ask God for wisdom in seeing them. For example, a business man was told by his doctor that he had a heart condition that needed to be treated. The stress behind such a disease could be linked to anger. Yet, he was not an angry man. However, when he was asked, “Do you ever get frustrated?”, he immediately said, “Yes! I am frustrated all the time! I just keep it inside of me.” His cardiovascular system did not make the distinction between the stress of anger, and frustration. It responded to both in the same way.

God promises to release the power of healing through the fervent prayers of those who are in a right relationship with Him. (See James 5:14-16.) If you would like such individuals to pray for you by name, click here.
If you have a disease that is beyond the reach of human remedies, and you have worked through all five causes of diseases, then you can submit the requests to a special prayer team that has experienced marvelous results based on the promise of God, “. . . call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me” (Psalm 50:15).
